Although I am usually quite conservative when it comes to discovering new music, back in 2023, I accidentally stumbled upon the music of Tino Piontek, famously known by his stage name Purple Disco Machine. The first track I discovered, which also became my absolute favorite, was Dopamine. Naturally, Spotify immediately started recommending his other tracks, and I very quickly became a huge fan of Purple Disco Machine. I really loved the bright, glittering disco theme in his music videos, filled with vibrant flashes of magenta and purple light.

Around that time, I happened to order a locally produced pigment from Ankara. When I made my very first resin mixture test, the song was blasting in my headphones, singing, “You make all the dopa dopamine, In my bloodstream the way you touch me.” Looking at the magical, eye catching shimmer of the resin at that exact moment, I just knew this product was going to be a massive hit.
